Official Transcripts & Degree Conferral
We welcome students from all majors and backgrounds and look for demonstration of aptitude for both quantitative and qualitative coursework. Admitted students have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. If you have less than a 2.75 cumulative GPA and your undergraduate curriculum did not include quantitative coursework, we strongly recommend that you take the GRE or GMAT to demonstrate your quantitative abilities.
Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions where you have attended and earned credit are required. You may upload unofficial or student-reported documentation for admission consideration but you will be required to provide an official transcript upon acceptance to the program.
English Language Proficiency Testing
Mastery of the English language is critical to the ITU learning experience. All US citizens and US Permanent Residents whose first language is not English and or who have not completed a bachelor’s degree in the United States must demonstrate English language proficiency including reading, writing and comprehension.
ITU accepts TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) of 72 or better.
GRE & GMAT
ITU does not require GRE or GMAT test score submissions for admission consideration. In cases where the applicant’s cumulative GPA is less than 2.75, submission of a GRE and/or GMAT is highly recommended.
Letters of Recommendation
ITU does not require letters of recommendation for admission consideration to ITU programs. In cases where the applicant’s prior academic background/ experience is not in the STEM fields, submission of letters of recommendation from field-professionals is highly recommended. Only letters of recommendation (1) composed within the past six months, (2) submitted on company letterhead and (3) via PDF format are accepted for admission consideration.
